For the 47th time, women in the Waterloo area were honored at the K-W Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year Awards. They are being held on Tuesday nights, and due to the pandemic, they are being held online.
This is also the first time that a prize has not been presented at the Oktoberfest. You can also look for the top rogers women of the year via the web.

In addition to the award, Jennifer Campbell of Country 106.7 was honored by the Cambridge country duo The Reklaws.
Campbell has hosted awards shows before and is a community advocate on many levels. Campbell died of cancer earlier this year.
A portion of ticket sales goes to the Sexual Violence Support Center in the Waterloo area.
Winners are nominated from a series of record numbers in eight categories:
Arts and Culture (sponsored by Home Hardware): This award recognizes women for enriching the culture of our community by creating or promoting art on a voluntary or professional basis.
Armstrong established himself as a force on the Canadian theater scene with his stake in.
Public Service (sponsored by Rogers TV): This award recognizes the generous time of female volunteers for programs and services that make our community a better place.
Sawatzky started a relationship with the 519 Church and has grown to include thousands of volunteers who care about the needs of our community.
Entrepreneur (sponsored by Piller's Fine Foods): This award recognizes women for starting and/or running a company or company.
